Welcome to the Play Therapy Forum.
In this group, you will learn, engage, and build your understanding of Play Therapy, an evidence-based early intervention program that can be used to support children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental differences.
Play Therapy Nigeria was conceived in 2017 but born 2022! Children have mental and emotional health problems just like adults, but they tend to be ignored and there are also very few Child Therapists in Nigeria to provide them with the proper care. One of the goals of Play Therapy Nigeria is to train Practitioners to work therapeutically with Children and Young People, using the language they understand, which is play. Play is the Child’s natural medium of self expression, and it helps children to deal with hard situations in a safe space.
