About CAND-DO
Centre for Autism and Neurodevelopmental disorders (CAND- Do) is one of the research centres of the College of Medicine University of Lagos. Lagos Nigeria.
In this capacity we are strategically poised for cutting edge relevant research along with stakeholder collaboration, advocacy and patient support.
The centre in its evolution has been and continues to be active in collaborating with stakeholders involved in community-based awareness and screening programs for autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other Neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) along with relevant research and support for caregivers of these persons with such special needs. In addition, we run workshops and capacity development trainings.

Parent Support Group
The parent support group is a quarterly series, virtual gathering that brings together parents, caretakers, clinical professionals and subject matter experts supporting neurodiverse children. Sessions will help guide you on topics that can help in building your very own A-Team of family support, mastering the art of managing severe and distressing behaviors, supporting your child through transitions, conquering anxiety in the realm of autism, collaborating like a pro with your care team and many more nuggets of wisdom to guide you on your child's care journey.
